About Kate
I've called Colorado home since I was a toddler, and having lived in Brighton, Todd Creek, Highlands Ranch, Littleton, and Lakewood, I've had the opportunity to experience firsthand what makes each of these communities unique. I'm Kate Swensen, a Colorado Realtor specializing in helping buyers, sellers, and those relocating to the Denver Metro and Northern Colorado areas. Whether you're moving across the country, buying your first home, or preparing to sell a property you've owned for years, I bring extensive local knowledge and real estate experience to help you make informed decisions. As the founder of CORE Home Team with HomeSmart, I've built a successful real estate team, but I continue to work directly with my own buyers and sellers. My approach is centered on honest communication, strong negotiation, and making sure my clients feel informed and confident throughout the entire process. In my free time I love to frequent concerts, travel, go camping and spending time with my family, kids, dog and cat.

"I met Kate on a Facebook group for people relocating to Denver. I posted a comment asking if anyone knew of a realtor with VA loan experience. Kate responded within the hour! She set me up with multiple land and house searches. She was patient with me, even when I kept changing where I wanted to look for a house multiple times. She did virtual tours for me while I was out of state and showed me around in person once I arrived. Ultimately, the house I ended up buying was one I never would've seen on my own--a newly fully renovated home, not even on the market yet! She listened every step of the way.
